Prince William Golf Course is known as the “Home of Value
Golf in Northern Virginia.” The facility ranks among the area’s
most historic and reasonably priced golf courses.
Built in the 1960s by a group of farmers who traded their tractors
for golf carts, this course’s inauspicious beginnings set it apart
from some of the more modern properties.
The Par 70 course is 6367 yards in length and features one of
the area’s finest driving ranges. In a National Golf Foundation
survey, staff friendliness was rated as the highest attribute at
Prince William. The popular course is under the management
of the Prince William County Park Authority. As part of their capital improvements program, a new irrigation system has been recently installed. Prince William Golf Course is located just off either Rt. 28 or Rt. 29 on Rt. 215 in Nokesville, Virginia.
