Heritage Oaks is the new municipal course located in and operated by the city of Harrisonburg, Virginia. The course was designed by architect Bill Love. Public golfers will appreciate the very affordable fees and accessibility found at Heritage Oaks.

The design of the course is a mix of links style and parkland style holes that meander along an extremely diverse piece of property. Towering oaks, hence the name, frame several of the holes, particularly on the back nine.

Heritage Oaks plays to a par 70, measuring 6400 yards from the back tees, which provides plenty of challenge for accomplished golfers. Three other spacious sets of tees make the course an excellent layout for golfers of all skills.

Heritage Oaks incorporates many of the other modern day golf course features, like generous landing areas for tee shots and large bentgrass greens with moderate undulations.
