The Links at Challedon

Opened in the summer of 1996, The Links at Challedon immediately garnered recognition as one of the premier golf facilities in the Baltimore and Washington area. As time has matured, this 6,700 yard, Par 72 Brian Ault design has now taken its place among the area's elite.

Meandering through the Challedon community, the course features large undulating bentgrass greens and strategically placed green side bunkers that have a traditional links design.Water comes into play on six of 18 holes, challenging golfers of all levels of ability.

The 3,800 square-foot clubhouse features a fully equipped golf shop and full-service grillroom. The club also offers a complete practice area including a driving range, two putting greens and a chipping green with a practice bunker.

Located just 30 miles from Baltimore and Washington, D.C., the Links at Challedon is situated in close proximity to Interstate 70, making the club easily accessible.

  • Take I-270 toward Rockville / Frederick
  • Take the Father Hurley Blvd. exit, EXIT 16A- toward MD-27E / Damacus
  • Father Hurley Blvd. becomes Ridge Rd.
  • Turn right onto Main St / MD-108
  • Turn left onto Ridge Rd / MD-27 N
  • Turn right onto Gillis Falls Rd.
  • Turn left onto Challedon Circle

Traveling North on I-81

  • Take the VA-7 E exit- EXIT 315- toward Berryville
  • Turn left onto VA-7 E / Berryville Pike
  • Take US-340 N ramp toward Harpers Ferry
  • Merge onto I-70 E via EXIT 10 toward Baltimore / I-270 / Washington
  • Take the MD-27 N exit- EXIT 68- toward Mt. Airy
