The Vista Links

The Vista Links is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course designed by award-winning architect Rick Jacobson. Opened in August 2004 as part of an expanded 600-acre master-planned park system, The Vista Links is a links-style golf course located on 180 acres of undulating topography between the beautiful Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountain ranges. This tranquil setting offers panoramic views of the mountains as well as the historic city of Buena Vista.

The course features bentgrass greens and fairways, bluegrass roughs and native grasses throughout while offering five sets of tees for the enjoyment of low handicappers, seniors, juniors and the average golfer.

The course also boasts an outstanding practice facility including driving range, putting green and chipping area.

Located just minutes off Interstate 81 and Route 60 east, in Bunea Vista, VA, The Vista Links is sure to become a favorite for golfers from near and far.

Directions to The Vista Links

From From I-81

  • Take Route 60 East (exit 188) towards Buena Vista.
  • Go approximately three miles you will approach a red light with a Food Lion on your right, continue through the light down the hill.
  • Then turn right on Vista Links Drive at the bottom of the hill.
  • Follow Vista Links Drive up to the clubhouse parking area.

From Amherst

  • Take RT. 60 to Buena Vista.
  • Continue approximately one (1) mile west, upon exiting Buena Vista.
  • When you approach the Maury River Bridge you want to be in the left lane. Immediately after the bridge turn left onto Vista Links Drive.
  • Follow Vista Links Drive up to the clubhouse parking area.

From Lynchburg

  • Take RT. 501 North to Rt. 60.
  • At the north end of Buena Vista (Hardies) turn left on Rt.60 west.
  • Upon exiting Buena Vista, when you approach the Maury River Bridge, you want to be in the left lane. Immediately after the bridge turn left onto Vista Links Drive.
  • Follow Vista Links Drive up to the clubhouse parking area.
