The Shenandoah Valley has unveiled yet another golf course, adding to its repertoire with the opening of the highly anticipated Blue Ridge Shadows.
Designed by architect Tom Clark of Ault, Clark & Associates, the 18-hole par 72 features bent grass tees, fairways and greens, while multiple tees allow for a challenging, yet pleasurable, golf experience for players at all skill levels.
Measuring just over 7,300 plus yards from the tips, the layout
consists of two very distinct 9-hold sides. The front features several holes cut through hardwoods, while the back nine plays in a valley.
Surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, this course is the centrpiece for the resort community that will feature a state-of-the-art clubhouse as well as a full-service hotel and spa. Located just one hour from the Capitol Beltway on Rt. 522, just of I-66, between Winchester and Front Royal.
